Supermodels usually are not tired of emphasizing how much they love burgers and fries. Adriana Lima is now told for the first time, as the "Victoria's Secret" angel actually suffer before a show.
It is an honor for each model, to float for the U.S. underwear label on the catwalk. Wednesday night was the annual Christmas show on the stage, as every year a success with around 8 million TV viewers.
Less glamorous, preparations, as revealed supermodel Adriana Lima (30) now the Telegraph:
Nine days before the show, there are only protein shakes, no solid food.
But not only that normal manner Lima drinking almost a gallon of water per day, 12 hours before the show is not even allowed: "Absolutely no liquids, so it dries out - can thus sometimes lose up to 3.6 kilos," says Lima. Since August, she trained daily with a fitness coach, three weeks before the show even twice a day.
The model hovers for eleven years for "Victoria's Secret" on the catwalk - which means at least once per year, such a radical cure. Nevertheless, Lima called her "angel-existence" as a highlight of their year and their career. "Highway to be, was a dream come true. And I know I'll look back one day with my daughter and it will be something very special," says the Brazilian.
