CSI: Elisabeth Shue replaced Marg Helgenberger

From mid-February, adding to the team from CSI Las Vegas is a new colleague. Elisabeth Shue will succeed by Marg Helgenberger, who is leaving the show after twelve years.

After Marg Helgenberger had announced in August that they result from "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" will have to adopt, the producers now find a successor for her team.

Catherine Willows, Helgenberger's character will go in January. Elisabeth Shue in their place soon will take up the service.

As the CBS announced the 48-year-old will play a crime scene investigator who has just completed only one Anger Management Course. She does not hesitate, tell people the brutal truth in the face. Shue has become known in the past mainly by parts in movies: She was in Karate Kid (1984), Cocktail (1988), Back to the Future II (and III), Leaving Las Vegas (1995), Deconstructing Harry (1997), Hollow Man (2000) and Hide and Seek (2005) with it. On television she had including "Curb Your Enthusiasm," a guest appearance.

She is on 15 February for the first time in the U.S. in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" to be seen.
