Tiger Woods breaks the two-year curse

Frustrations like out of the formerly sovereign golfer Tiger Woods for over two years, but Sunday was the American finally again a victory when he won the Chevron World Challenge tournament in Thousand Oaks, California.

Before the final round was Tiger Woods in second place but with a round in three strokes under par for Woods managed to squeeze ahead of countryman Zach Johnson, who finished one stroke worse. Woods is thus recorded in 95 tournament victories in his career.

The former long-pans in the world completely lost their grip on the game, when his marriage about two years ago fell apart due to the golf star's infidelity. Currently, Woods number 52 in the world.

- It feels so great, said Woods after his victory that was secured with two birdies on the final holes. On hole 17, he sank the ball from almost 15 meters, and on the last hole, he shook no hands, then he should putt from just six feet away.

Total ending Woods tournament with 278 strokes or 10 strokes better than the runway ideal score. Tiger Woods last victory was the Australian Masters in 2009.
